Here are highlights from our Florida Spring Tour!
This past January, Alex was selected to perform in the Sarasota Super Strings Program under the direction of famed violinist Itzhak Perlman. Mr. Perlman was offering the young musicians a photo after the concert. Before Alex got his turn, Mr. Perlman’s minder escorted him off the stage. Alex was mortified! He is a huge fan of Mr. Perlman’s. Luckily enough I was able to pull some strings and get a private meeting with Alex and Mr. Perlman after an concert at The Barbara Mann in Fort Myers. Mr. Perlman’s advice to Alex…PRACTICE SLOWLY!
