Check out my new arrangement of Havana featuring video from my trips to Cuba to teach at the famous Ciudad de las Artes (The Cuban Julliard) and other schools.  Also performing at the Havana Jazz Festival.  Also featuring the pizzicato brothers (Alex and Sean!)

Dave Koz has been really so supportive of Alex.  “Such an awesome message, and he’s WONDERFUL on that violin. Wonder where he got THAT from?! :)”

-Dave Koz

Thank you Dave!

I invite you to have a listen to Dave’s charming intro on his show here…

Alex’s compelling video and version of Drake’s hit “God’s Plan” was featured on NBC-2 in Southwest Florida.  Thanks Clay Miller for your support and enthusiasm for Alex and his cause to help homeless.

I recently produced and arranged a version of Drake’s hit, God’s Plan featuring my son Alex.  He loves the song and the message Drake put forward on the video.  We were in New York because Alex was selected to play Carnegie Hall with The Honor’s Orchestra.  Alex saw homeless people and wanted to give to them.  This has ALWAYS been in Alex’s heart.  We shot this video that I’d like to share with you.  Please share it with others and pass the message on!

The song is available here!

Check out 11 year old Alex Cameron playing “Mary Did You Know” for a Christmas Concert at New Life Assembly in Fort Myers.

I took Alex (11 years) with me to perform on two ships in Alaska.  We had a blast, and Alex was a super star.  Have a look at this video!

What an amazing trip I had to Cuba.  I gave three master classes at the Escuela De Artes (Cuba’s Julliard) and two concerts, one a live radio broadcast from La Zorra El Cuervo, Cuba’s hottest jazz club.  The broadcast was heard internationally through the internet.  I invite you to have a look at my documentary on Cuba.  I think you’ll find it quite fascinating.  I love CUBA!!!

Doug Cameron

If you would like to look at the full 40 minute version, here it is as well.  You’ll gain a lot of insight into what’s happening in Cuba these days.

I’m very excited to announce that Alfred Music will be distributing my new “Swing your Strings” series (alternative styles for Suzuki Students).  The series which has been approved by The International Suzuki Association as supplemental material will also be available on my website.  Alfred has been the distributor for all Suzuki materials, so I am honored to have my series in the same home as Suzuki.

Doug’s “Spontaneous Christmas” program was a hit with The Fort Smith Symphony.  “One of our most successful concerts ever!” says maestro John Jeter.  Watch the concert below!
